Welcome to Rydal Penrhos

We are delighted that you are considering Rydal Penrhos School for your son or daughter and hope that you have enjoyed visiting our website to get a sense of what we do and achieve every day.

At Rydal Penrhos we are proud of our history and heritage but never at the cost of looking forward, to the future. Rydal Penrhos has been guiding pupils to become confident, mature and well-educated young people for more than 120 years and we would be excited to share our next chapter with your family as part of our community.

We are a distinctive school with a unique standing in the region and widely respected well beyond the north west of Britain. We are confident about making changes when we know that they will benefit our pupils, and strong enough to successfully combine fine traditions with contemporary practices and philosophies.

The school is an educational charity, founded in the Methodist tradition. We aim to be an inclusive organisation and we do all we can to share our resources – both physical and human – with our local community.
