Rydal Penrhos School delighted in another year of exceptional GCSE results, continuing the school’s tradition of academic excellence.
25% of Rydal Penrhos results were the highest possible grade of A* (9 to 8), over quadruple the Welsh national average of 6%.
47% of pupils secured A* to A (9 to 7) grades, more than twice the Welsh and UK national averages of 18.7% and 21.8%, respectively.
98% of Rydal Penrhos pupils achieved A* to C (9 to 4) grades; the average across Wales was 61.7%.
The release of the 2024 results marked a significant achievement for Rydal Penrhos, as we celebrated a 100% pass rate for the fifth consecutive year.
