Rydal Penrhos looks to add value for its pupils by improving their exam results compared to the average school. However, we also seek to add value for parents.
Our fees represent excellent value as they include as many features of a Rydal Penrhos education as possible, reducing hidden extras to a minimum.
Our fees include more than simply the principal charges for tuition, exercise and text books, publications and team fares.
School meals are included as standard in the school fee, as we believe that proper nutrition is an essential part of any child’s education. Similarly, all trips and excursions that are essential to the curriculum are included.
For older pupils, we have also integrated the cost of academic examination entries (excluding re-sits) into the fees; this represents a saving of £500 in Year 11, £200 in Year 12 pupil and £350 in Year 13.
Fees are payable by Standing Order and parents can choose to pay over 10 instalments or 3 instalments.
Payment by 10 instalments begins on 15th August ahead of the start of the Academic Year and are payable on the 15th of each month, ending on 15th May.
Payment by 3 instalments begins on 1st September at the start of the Academic Year with 2 further payments due on 1st January and 1st April.
There is no credit charge for payment by instalments.
One term’s notice in writing is required to withdraw a child from the school. Where the required period of notice is not given, fees in lieu of notice will be applicable, as per Section H of our Terms and Conditions.
Rydal Penrhos is a Ministry of Defence (MOD) approved school and as such accepts children of service personnel who are eligible for the Day School Allowance (North Wales) DSA (NW) or the Continuity of Education Allowance (CEA).
