So you’ve been to the usual round of Open Evenings, you’ve discussed your exam choices with Heads of Sixth Form or Senior Teachers, you’ve scanned various school websites and yet still you have no real idea of what life looks like at the schools you are considering. Come and discover what our Rydal Penrhos community has to offer by spending a day with us on the 6th Feb. 

What can you expect?

You will have the chance to experience lessons in your chosen subjects, enjoy getting to know your classmates, speak with our Head of Sixth Form, our Careers and Higher Education Specialists and, of course, current pupils. Come and feel a day at Rydal Penrhos, our sense of community, our commitment to each individual pupil and choose from a range of activities that will help you to understand exactly what it’s like to be part of Rydal Penrhos.

The day will begin with a welcome from our Principal Mr Hutchinson, followed by a taste of academic lessons, break spent in the Ferguson Centre (our academic and social base for years 11, 12 and 13) and a delicious lunch hosted by our Senior Prefect Team. In the afternoon you will be able to choose from a range of activities including sports, DT, Art and more. Your day will finish with discussions and your chance to ask questions about curriculum and exam options.

How can you make such an important decision without spending a time with us? Our GCSE and A-Level results continue to be among the best in Wales and our extra and super curricular programmes prepare our pupils for life outside of school as global citizens living and working in the 21st Century.
