A special fundraising event catered specifically to chocoholics will take place at Rydal Penrhos next month.

In the latest of a series of fundraising drives by the Friends of Rydal Penrhos committee, an Easter Chocolate Bingo evening will take place on Friday, March 27 in the Senior Dining Hall.

The cost of the evening will be £1 for three games, and there will also be a special bonus game which will be an additional £1 with the prize of a fantastic Easter Egg Hamper up for grabs.

There will be a host of other chocolate treats to be won throughout the event, and all funds raised will go towards supporting projects across the school’s Prep and Senior sites.

Doors will open at 3.30pm and there will also be a raffle held on the night in addition to refreshments.

The committee will once again be requesting donations of Easter Eggs for the bingo and raffle, and there will also be a collection that will be donated to Action for Children.

All proceeds will go towards Rydal Penrhos’ ongoing charity work in Uganda, with the school recently making a significant donation to another education construction project.
