We had a super Celebration Assembly on Friday, lots of parents supporting us which is great to see.
We had a brilliant match report from Noah about the very successful first rugby fixture of the year, well done boys!
We also found out all about the first inter-house event of the year, the cross country; brilliant atmosphere around the 2.5km course as all of our junior Prep pupils ran around our beautiful grounds as fast as they could.
Thank you to Ed Brookes for his video of the races which the pupils have watched and will be available for you to share from our social media in the coming days.
Year 3 and 4 will also have chance to watch their video this week. So many parents help out the school in so many ways; can you help us in some way? Please let me know if you can.
Your children are talented; they must have got that from you. Please feel free to come and share your talents!
Mr John Payne, a governor and former parent, has again sponsored our whole school visit to see the Saltmine Theatre’s Christmas production.
On Friday, the pupils from Reception to Year 6 walked down to our Memorial Hall to watch a very clever and entertaining version of the Nutcracker.
We invited St. Joseph’s School to join us and great fun was had by all. Thank you Mr Payne for helping us start off the Advent season in style.
A fabulous message of forgiveness was given through the play as well as lots of Christmas favourite songs!
