Mrs Roberts’ Pre-School blog: December 6
December 6, 2019

Rydal Penrhos Pre-School head Louise Roberts gives us an insight into another eventful week within the department in her weekly blog, with plenty of festive-themed activities taking place as excitement builds for the Christmas break.

This week the children have started to learn about Christmas and the story surrounding what is an enormously exciting time for them.

We have made the role play area into a stable to enable the children to play out the story of Jesus’ birth, the prominent characters within the story and its meaning to us today.

There was plenty of excitement within our Pre-School this week for their trip to Greenacres Animal Park, where they spent time with the wonderful animals at the site and also met Father Christmas himself to receive a present.

Their creativity has been demonstrated in abundance during crafts as the children made various things relating to the festive season, and they also managed to write their letters to Santa before sending them off to the North Pole.

With a fortnight remaining until the Christmas break, there is plenty going on for our Pre-School children in the coming weeks, including singing at Merton Place in Colwyn Bay and the Pre-Prep Christmas Musical.

Thank you as always for your continued support.

Mrs L Roberts
