Rydal Penrhos Prep School teaching staff have received some positive messages from parents regarding their remote learning packages.
Each child was sent home with some tasks to get them through the initial stages of the closure, which have been met with a significant response with eager learners.
Teaching staff will be in constant communication with parents regarding learning progress at home, providing them with plenty of guidance and support to ensure goals are met.
Here are some of the comments received so far:
Thank you for the learning material you prepared. My child was very motivated to do school at home on Friday and finished the whole CVC work sheet Friday morning, not wanting to pause. They also wear PE uniform to school by choice.
Beautiful handiwork and very creative. We are truly blessed.
Thank you for the detailed learning pack. My child cried on Friday morning when I said they had to do homework, but they got into the swing of it and was motivated by a photo of Peter at his desk in uniform!
Thank you kindly for the Superhero story. My child enjoyed listening to it, although I don’t think they’ve copped on fully to the situation yet!
Thank you for the bag of goodies was so lovely and such a lovely, lovely surprise. It was just the thing to cheer me up!
Thank you so much for organising the bags. You’ve been really busy and it is much appreciated!
My child’s use of words is a credit to her and the amazing teaching that has enabled her to do it so well. Thank you.
Thanks for all of your help in producing the packs, they are really helpful.
A quick note of thanks and support. We are sure that it is a difficult and stressful time for you all, but our children are taking it in their stride with little sign of worry, and that is thanks to how you have prepared them. Sorting out all the work for them is greatly appreciated and they have taken to it with gusto.
It is often the negative parents who are the noisiest, so I wanted to let you know that we are delighted with how you care for, teach, feed, support, and encourage our children.
