Pupils and parents at Rydal Penrhos are set to learn valuable lessons about how young people best study and prepare for exams when they take part in a workshop led by a leading UK firm.
Rydal Penrhos is gearing up for an exciting day of exam preparation workshops in partnership with external company, Positively You. On Wednesday 26 April 2023, Years 9-13 will be participating in various workshops aimed at equipping them with the skills and techniques necessary to excel in their exams.
The Super Speed Study Skills Workshop is specifically designed for Years 9 and 10, while Years 11-13 will benefit from the Exam Busters Workshop. Both workshops will provide pupils with invaluable tips on how to improve their revision and exam-taking abilities.
In addition to these workshops, parents are invited to attend a Parent Twilight session at 5:00 pm. During this hour-long session, parents will have the opportunity to learn about what their child has learnt during the workshops and will receive expert advice on how they can support their child’s exam preparation at home. Parents will also receive a factsheet containing details of the workshop their child attended.
This day of workshops coincides with several other recent initiatives that Rydal Penrhos has put in place to boost pupils’ exam prospects, including the highly successful Easter GCSE Revision Courses. The school has a proven track record of achieving excellent exam results, and these workshops are just one of the many ways in which Rydal Penrhos ensures that all pupils, regardless of their innate level of ability, receive the support they need to excel.
