Pre-School group enhancing numeracy skills in the Forest
September 5, 2019

Pre-School children at Rydal Penrhos have been taking part in a series of fun-filled and thought-provoking activities to enhance their learning.

The youngest members of the Preparatory School community have been working incredibly hard under the expert guidance and care of committed staff within the department, taking part in a wealth of different tasks.

One of the key components within Pre-School is numeracy, and the group boosted their number skills considerably by counting through threading, and they have also spent time at Rydal Penrhos’ impressive Forest School facility where the children spent time making their own butterflies.

Another exciting activity for the contingent brought some tasty results, with the children given the chance to make their very own ice cream as a rewarded for all their dedication to academic-related tasks.

They have also been finding out more about the importance of building friendships in all areas of their learning, which has brought some really impressive outcomes.
