Due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Rydal Penrhos School staff are currently teaching remotely on government advice.
Our Prep School site is offering free childcare provision to keyworkers in the community. All calls made to the school are now being streamlined to the Prep site.
Please see the Coronavirus Information page located in the menu section of the site for the latest developments.
The Pre-School department consists of a large open plan area with units for role play, circle and story time, classroom activities/numeracy and literacy groups, construction/small world, art and wet activities, reading and computer activities.
There is also a secure, fully enclosed outdoor area.
In addition, the Pre-School children benefit from Physical Education and Games sessions in the school hall and music/singing lessons and various activities and clubs take place for even our youngest children, including ballet.
We endeavour to make the most of our beautiful location in the education we offer.
With this in mind, our Forest School status enables pupils from Pre-School to Year 6 to learn in an outdoor classroom, from examining wildlife to playing fun, educational games to inspire learning.
The Forest School is another fantastic area at Rydal Penrhos, which is a great way to enhance each child’s overall experiences during a crucial stage in their initial development.
