Due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Rydal Penrhos School staff are currently teaching remotely on government advice.
Our Prep School site is offering free childcare provision to keyworkers in the community. All calls made to the school are now being streamlined to the Prep site.

During term time the school is open from 8am for parents who wish to drop their child off a little bit earlier ahead of the scheduled start time of 8.30am.There is also an after school service that is open until 6pm.
The Pre-School department is the setting for pupils in Pre-School-Year 2, while a number of rooms in the Prep School are used for the other year groups.
There is no charge for this service, although an afternoon tea is provided if required, which consists of sandwiches, fruit, cake and a drink, which comes at a small cost.
The holiday play scheme is open during the school holidays closing only for a few days over the Christmas holiday. It provides an extensive programme of activities which the children can experience, and helps assist them with their emotional, physical, social, intellectual, language and creative development. But of course, they don’t realise all this: for them it is just good fun!
We vary the activities throughout the day to retain your child’s interest. Outdoor play and sports activities are included most days. Local outings are arranged on a regular basis and most weeks we have the use of the school swimming pool for a session.
The play scheme is open for all Rydal Penrhos Preparatory pupils from the Pre-School department through to Year 6.
The play-scheme is open from 8.30am until 5.30pm.
There is a late session which is available from 4pm until 5.30pm.
