Damisola Animashaun has become a valued member of the Rydal Penrhos community in a short space of time, and his dedication to his academic studies was rewarded with some truly amazing GCSE results.
This saw the Rydal Penrhos pupil secure five 9s in Business, French, Geography, Mathematics and Religious Studies, in addition to two 8s in English (1st Language) and English Literature.
Damisola also attained a distinction in Additional Mathematics and three A* grades in Biology, Chemistry and Physics to round-off a superb set of GCSE results that the pupil worked exceptionally hard for.
He will now move into Rydal Penrhos’ thriving Sixth Form, where he will study Business, Further Mathematics and Economics.
Damisola while in school has also taken part in the United Kingdom Mathematics Trust’s individual challenges, made his debut for the school’s senior rugby side over the autumn term, and has also taken the stage as part of the Speech and Drama group’s Comedy Night, which was an enormous success and improves areas such as confidence and public speaking.
Damisola epitomises what a Rydal Penrhos education is all about, solid academic development and success alongside activities and opportunities that enable an individual to explore, learn, develop and establish a sense of themselves as a person.
