Rydal Penrhos Gallery: Pre-School mini-beast hunt
July 1, 2020

The youngest members of the Rydal Penrhos Prep School community went in search of some creepy crawlies as part of an outdoor learning task.

The Pre-School contingent at Rydal Penrhos have been immensely busy during the first week back following the coronavirus lockdown, and they worked alongside hard-working staff to document what sort of things they saw around the school grounds.

This was all part of their early learning development, which centres on specific topics and captures the imagination of each pupil involved.

Louise Roberts, Pre-School department head, said: “Our Pre-School children have been nothing short of incredible during their first week back.

“They are an incredibly enthusiastic bunch who have made a seamless adjustment back into their Pre-School environment.

“Our staff team are always on hand to provide exceptional support and guidance. And the group had so much during their mini-beast hunt.”

At Rydal Penrhos Pre-School, young children will explore, investigate and question so that they learn while their curiosity and imagination are given full reign.
