Rydal Penrhos Prep School pupils took home special awards for their kind approach to learning throughout a busy Advent Term.
It has been another term full of incredible achievements and great success at Rydal Penrhos. The school is flourishing from Pre-School to Sixth Form, with pupils developing their academic prowess and also thriving through varied activities outside of the classroom.
There has been a real buzz around the school and everyone deserves an exceptional amount of credit for throwing themselves straight into the provision provided during a busy and enjoyable Advent Term.
The last few weeks seem to have passed in the blink of an eye. But Rydal Penrhos staff have guided our pupils superbly every step of the way, leaving no stone unturned to assist those under their care.
To mark the end of another successful term, Prep School pupils had their Stars of the Week with a twist. Each pupil was asked to vote for the kindest child in their class, with each winner receiving a ‘kindness’ reindeer together with a certificate acknowledging their selfless approach.
After the votes were counted, here are the Prep Kindness Stars of the Week for the Advent Term:

- Year 2: Livia
- Year 3: Eleanor
- Year 4: Marie-Louise
- Year 5: Rose
- Year 6: James
Jack took home the Performer of the Week thanks to his fabulous triumph in the class Poetry Slam. He even read his poem – ‘What do you want to be?’ – in front of the entire Prep School contingent at their morning assembly on Friday 16 December.
Well done to each winner and to all pupils for their outstanding commitment throughout such an action-packed term!
