Rydal Penrhos Daily Notes – June 11
Day 57 from Rydal Penrhos school’s keyworker childcare provision – 20 pupils, 9 staff
Today we had an after school visitor. Binky the rabbit was brought in from his keyworker home to meet our very enthusiastic rabbit experts!
Yes, it seems that all children are experts on rabbits. I was told the following ‘facts’ by the audience:
- Rabbits have 100 teeth
- Rabbits have 100 babies
- Rabbits can run as fast as an aeroplane
- Rabbits don’t like singing
- Rabbits eat carrots and oranges and anything else orange
- Rabbits are friends with hedgehogs
- Rabbits are sometimes friends with foxes but only on CBeebies
- Rabbits are kind but can get cross
The knowledgeable young owner was not sure if the above statements were true but she did agree with number eight. Apparently Binky can get a little testy from time to time!
Don’t worry Binky, it happens to the best of us!!
