On Thursday 29 June, the Rydal Penrhos Pre-School community came together to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our little stars. The event was filled with joy and pride as Deputy Principal and Head of Pre-School, Mrs Davies, warmly welcomed everyone.
The highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of certificates to each and every child, acknowledging their invaluable contributions as cherished members of their peer group. This gesture reinforced the importance of recognizing and appreciating the unique qualities and efforts of each child.
For the older members of the Rydal Penrhos Pre-School group, known as the Superstars, this occasion held special significance. It marked their transition from Pre-School to the next exciting chapter of their educational journey—joining Reception in September.
To commemorate this milestone, the Superstars were privileged to have Mrs Devilleforte, the Reception form tutor, as a distinguished guest. Mrs Devilleforte presented them with a book authored by former Children’s Laureate, Julia Donaldson. Additionally, they received a folder containing a compilation of their fondest memories and notable achievements from their time in Pre-School.
The event was a resounding success, with parents, staff, and pupils all coming together to celebrate the growth, development, and accomplishments of the Pre-School community. It served as a testament to the dedication and commitment of the staff and parents in providing a nurturing environment for the children to thrive.
As we express our gratitude to all who attended this memorable celebration, we recognize and celebrate the tremendous achievements of our Pre-School. It has been a remarkable year, filled with learning, friendship, and memorable experiences, laying a solid foundation for the future educational journeys of these young learners.
