Rydal Penrhos Prep School’s Podcast Club delivered some much-needed Christmas cheer during their latest edition.
The Rydal Penrhos Prep School Podcast Club is led by teacher Catherine Culver, and the group has been busy over the first few weeks of the academic year learning about the tricks of the trade and how to put together an impactful podcast that stands out from the crowd.
Their final release of a busy autumn term predictably centred around the topic of Christmas, which has been a source of great excitement across the Prep School in recent weeks despite the COVID-19 concerns making the schedule of events far different than in years past.
Those involved with the podcast each read out a special Christmas poem to mark the festive edition, before wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to sign off until 2021.
It has been a memorable first few weeks of the Podcast Club, which is a new initiative at Rydal Penrhos as the Prep School continues to embrace the digital age and its importance across day-to-day life.
The Prep School’s exceptional teaching staff have produced a diverse series of clubs and activities to enjoy throughout the academic year, which will further develop key skills in a relaxed setting away from the classroom.
They are focused on five categories:

- Performing Arts
- Reading, Games and Quizzes
- Sport and Activity
- Wellbeing and Personal Skills
