Staff at Rydal Penrhos received an outpouring of support for their efforts during the coronavirus school lockdown.
It was an unprecedented time for all concerned with the school, but Rydal Penrhos teachers and support staff went above and beyond the call of duty.
This included ensuring that each pupil got the most out of their online learning, in addition to taking every necessary precaution down to the last detail so that children and staff alike returned to a safe working and learning environment.
Rydal Penrhos was also incredibly active throughout the community to assist in whatever way they could. The school’s PPE project produced thousands of protective masks for NHS and frontline facilities across the region, boarding facilities were opened for keyworkers who couldn’t go home, childcare provision was available for non-Rydal Penrhos families and pupils made masks and raised money for various causes.
