A vibrant Christmas Service conducted by the Reverend Dr Rob Beamish concluded a successful Advent Term at Rydal Penrhos.
It has been another term full of incredible achievements and great success at Rydal Penrhos. Pupils and staff have been immensely busy since the academic year began in September, with development progressing across all year groups both academically and through the diverse range of extra-curricular activities on offer.
We pride ourselves on an exceptional all-around education at Rydal Penrhos. This allows each child to learn and develop in a happy and safe environment, receiving expert care and guidance from our dedicated staff team.
The curtain came down on another memorable festive schedule to close out the Advent Term with the school’s annual Christmas Service, which was held in St John’s Church on Friday 16 December and led once again by the Reverend Dr Rob Beamish, Chaplain of Rydal Penrhos.
Rev’d Dr Beamish told the Nativity story with a twist this year, playing a word game with pupils that saw plenty of exciting prizes given out throughout the service.
There were also numerous readings from Prep and Senior pupils highlighting the importance of Christmas and community – a spirit that’s been especially evident across the school in recent months.
The Prep and Senior choirs also lent their support with performances. Those in Pre-School to Year 2 also provided a musical number from their recent Nativity play, which was incredibly well received by those in attendance.
St John’s Church was full of colour thanks to the specially created baubles made by Prep pupils and family members during their yearly Christmas Art Workshops. Something that further added to the overall occasion.
On behalf of everyone at Rydal Penrhos, we would like to thank the entire school community for their outstanding support and efforts throughout the Advent Term. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all!
