Preparatory School bookworms will get the opportunity to add to their collections thanks to a specially organised event.
The three-day Book Fair will take place from Monday, November 18 until Wednesday 20 at the school’s Lyndon Library, and there will be a wide range of children’s books available to purchase ranging from Pre-School up to Year 6 reading standard and beyond.
The collections are set to feature everything from Peppa Pig and Super Mario to Harry Potter, and this is the latest in a long of initiatives and opportunities put on by Rydal Penrhos’ Prep School staff with a view to improving reading and vocabulary in each pupil under their care.
Each year group will be invited into the Fair to view the books for themselves with a view to buying their particular favourites, and there will also be the chance to read independently and as a group under the guidance and support of staff.
Prep School Head Lucy Davies, said: “Our Book Fair is a great way for children to boost their own personal collections, while also improving their reading outside of the classroom.
“This is something was actively encourage at every opportunity here at Rydal Penrhos, and it is something that continues to progress the academic accomplishments and development of each pupil considerably.”
