It was the best week ever! 

We went to Arete Outdoor Centre, Llanrug.  It was a school trip.

I shared a room with Rupert, Nathan and Cameron.  I was on the top bunk and Cameron was below me.

We had room checks every day, by the end of the week we had a ten out of ten!

My favourite activities over the week were:

• Surfing
• Coasteering
• Night assault course
• Orienteering
• Egg drop
• Kayaking
• Chillax room

Surfing was the absolute best.  I shared a board with Rupert.  The board was as big as our dining table.  My favourite bit was tipping my teacher’s board over!

I have never done coasteering before. I loved jumping off the giant cliff!

It was so scary standing up there the first time but the teacher pushed me off!

When you do something scary you want to do it again so I could not wait to rush back up there.

The night-time assault course was exciting, you had to squeeze through the tunnels.

Orienteering was amazing in the dark. Everyone said my head torches was the best because it was like a Batman beam.  I could reach mountains from where we were.

At night only the boys got to use the chillax room, which was absolutely amazing!

The environment was stunning! The views were amazing when we went hiking.  The weather was brilliant all week.

Overall, I want to do it all over again.  Even though I woke up at 5am and went to bed at 11pm!

Next time, I want to do sea traversing and bush craft.
