Sixth Form Open Evening information
November 11, 2019

Prospective Sixth Form pupils can find out what Rydal Penrhos has to offer at an upcoming event.

The school will be hosting a special Sixth Form Opening Evening on Tuesday, December 3 from 5-7.30pm.

There will be plenty to enjoy throughout the event, including a tour of the key areas of Rydal Penrhos and a chance to speak with key staff and current pupils.

Introductory addresses will come from Senior School Head Sally Ann Harding, Head Boy Ioan Peake-Jones and Head Girl Millie Collins, and all subjects will be showcased including subjects such as Mathematics, English and Science.

The more creative departments such as Art, Music, Drama and Design Technology will also feature prominently.

Those in attendance can also explore Rydal Penrhos’ exceptional enrichment programme featuring things such as Sport, the Model UN and the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award scheme, with Mrs Harding and Assistant Deputy Head Rhian Williams able to discuss the vast curriculum options available within the Sixth Form.

Following the tours, mine pies and mulled wine will be served at the Sixth Form Ferguson Centre, and there will also be entertainment in the form of festive songs from our Senior Choir.

Rydal Penrhos is offering two 100 per cent fee reduction places for Year 12 (2020 entry) and specific criteria will be available at the Open Evening.
