Rydal Penrhos Preparatory School gave six deserving pupils the role of Prefects for the current academic year.
Prep School Head Lucy Davies revealed the news at Rydal Penrhos weekly Celebration Assembly on Friday, October 4, which saw leadership positions awarded to members of the Year 6 group.
Taking on the Prefect positions are Archie Jeeves, Dominic Chamberlain, Will Glanville, Lily Copeland, Tilly Trueman and Ellie Knight, who all impressed during the assessment and interview process in the lead-up to their respective appointments.
All six have made a fantastic contribution to Prep School life and have taken full advantage of the wealth of opportunities afforded to them as part of Rydal Penrhos’ diverse academic and extra-curricular programme organised by dedicated teaching and support staff.
Each of the new appointment will work closely with Head Boy Ruper Barrington-Chance and Head Girl Fleur Roberts to ensure the efficient running of the school from a pupil perspective in the coming months.
They will also be undertaking peer mentor training to ensure that all pupils feel happy in their friendships.
Mrs Davies, said: “Archie, Dominic, Will, Lily, Tilly and Ellie have all left a considerable impression on life here at Rydal Penrhos and they are significant and deserved additions to our Prefect team.
“Their confidence, determination and the respectful way they conduct themselves will serve as a fantastic inspiration to younger children who are looking to emulate them in the years to come.”
