Aspiring performing artists will take to the stage for a special event that is back by popular demand.
The school’s Speech and Drama group will be holding a Comedy Night on Wednesday, February 12 in the Memorial Hall, with the series of performances set to begin at 6.30pm.
This follows on from a hugely successful first evening of its kind last year and will feature a wealth of different year groups.
Speech and Drama pupils have been incredibly hard with teacher Christina Bloomfield in recent weeks, rehearsing on their respective contributions that will feature work from Catherine Tate, Harry Enfield and the late Victoria Wood.
Well done to everyone that performed at last night’s Speech and #Drama #Comedy evening. It was an incredible event full of laughs and entertainment! #oneRPS #PerformingArts

There will also be comedic monologues by Neil Simon and others, as well as a lot of their own devised material that includes a hilarious Spanish soap opera.
Mrs Bloomfield, said: “All acts are a maximum of five minutes in length so it’s a fast-moving programme with lots of audience participation.
“It is open to as many people who want to come, so gather your friends and families and fill our hall with laughter and merriment. It’s free fun – all you have to bring is your sense of humour.”
