We are delighted to announce that appointment of Leah Crimes to the Headship of St Brigid’s School in Denbigh as of June 2020; the school she attended as a pupil. 

Leah joined us in 2008 as an English and Drama teacher, she became Head of Drama in 2010 and then Head of English and Drama in 2013. She took over as Head of Sixth Form in 2018 and became Head of Language, Literacy & Communication.

She was also Assistant Houseparent in Beecholme boarding house from 2009-2018.

Leah is an enormously talented teacher and many years of very good exam results is testimony to this.  She is a loyal colleague and friend to many of the staff and the pupils have benefitted from her caring and kind approach in their academic journey.

Leah’s productions have been very well received by those who have watched them.  She is meticulous and thorough and has allowed the pupils to showcase their talents with aplomb.

We hope that Leah’s career in Rydal Penrhos will have given her all of the necessary skills she will require.

We would like to wish her all the very best as she takes up her Headship in St Brigid’s.
