Year 11: Transition to Sixth Form course starts next week
May 8, 2020

Year 11 pupils at Rydal Penrhos will be given the opportunity to ease their transition to Sixth Form life next year.

The school has arranged a “Transition to Sixth Form” timetable over the next fortnight, which will be full of interesting online taster sessions from a large amount of choices available.

This will provide the current Year 11 group with some tremendous insight on what to expect when they begin the next stage of their educational journey in September.

Pupils are expected to attend the sessions relating to the subjects they are planning to study during the next academic year. There is also the chance to join sessions of interest that may not have been chosen.

The group should select at least three sessions per week that they plan to attend. If there is a clash between subjects, pupils can sign up for a different session during the second week of the course.

Some subject sessions appear twice each week to provide some extra flexibility, and Rydal Penrhos’ dedicated teaching staff will take Year 11 through the process to ensure they are fully prepared for the challenges that lie ahead.

Anyone wishing to sign up for particular sessions that have not yet done so can visit this link https://tinyurl.com/Y11signup, which provides all the information needed.
