A-LEVEL RESULTS 2026

Rydal Penrhos School in Colwyn Bay celebrated another excellent year of A-Level results, with pupils securing places at some of the UK’s most prestigious universities.

26% of grades at Rydal Penrhos were the highest possible A* grade, while 50% of grades were A* to A, and 91% of grades were A* to C.

Among the highest achievers was Head Girl Rana Abou-Samra, who returned a phenomenal 4 A*s and will study Medicine at the University of Manchester. Rana is one of several Class of 2026 leavers to earn places in highly-selective medical courses at the UK’s top universities.

GCSE RESULTS 2026

Rydal Penrhos School delighted in another year of exceptional GCSE results, continuing the school’s tradition of academic excellence.

29% of Rydal Penrhos results were the highest possible grade of A* (9 to 8).

55% of pupils secured A* to A (9 to 7) grades, while 95% of Rydal Penrhos entries achieved A* to C (9 to 4) grades.
