Rydal Penrhos School in Colwyn Bay celebrated another excellent year of A-Level results, with pupils securing places at some of the UK’s most prestigious universities.
26% of grades at Rydal Penrhos were the highest possible A* grade, while 50% of grades were A* to A, and 91% of grades were A* to C.
Among the highest achievers was Head Girl Rana Abou-Samra, who returned a phenomenal 4 A*s and will study Medicine at the University of Manchester. Rana is one of several Class of 2026 leavers to earn places in highly-selective medical courses at the UK’s top universities.
