Nick Fiorita (RPS 2006-2019) and the current Head Girl and Boy have written very supportively of their experiences of being on the Committee.

“Joining the Rydal Penrhos Alumni committee was a great decision as it has allowed me to keep informed and aware of the major changes even after leaving. Having had the privilege to work on the committee whilst still a pupil, it was great to see other alumni and build connections across the huge alumni network we have.

“Being on the committee both as a former Head Boy and as the Chair of the Dragons Hockey Club, the Old Boys Hockey squad, doesn’t take up very much time and is centred on helping with Founders weekend and a few meetings throughout the year.

“I enjoy seeing fellow alumni, both from my time at school and from before my time and recognising how much we share in the values and passion in the school.

“I would encourage anyone who is thinking of joining to give it a go, as it really isn’t a huge commitment but you get a lot in return.”

“Joining the society is a great way to influence school life with flexible levels of involvement.

“It allows you to contribute to some of the most important events in the school calendar, making it a really worthwhile community to be a part of.”

  • Anna Parry-Williams, Head Girl RPS 2020/2021

“Joining the committee is definitely worth considering and I highly recommend it.

“It’s a great way to maintain the connection you have with the school, regardless of where you are, and doesn’t make you go out of your way to commit to it.”

  • Richard Wolfendale. Head Boy, RPS 2020/2021
