Rydal Penrhos School in Colwyn Bay celebrated another excellent year of A-Level results, with pupils securing places at some of the UK’s most prestigious universities.
20% of grades at Rydal Penrhos were the highest possible A* grade – double the Welsh average – while 45% of grades were A* to A, and 83% of grades were A* to C.
Among the highest achievers was Liam Farrell, who has been at Rydal Penrhos since Pre-School. Liam achieved a remarkable four A* grades, including the rare distinction of full UMS in Further Mathematics – meaning he dropped no marks whatsoever in one of the most challenging A-Levels available.
Rydal Penrhos School delighted in another year of exceptional GCSE results, continuing the school’s tradition of academic excellence.
18% of Rydal Penrhos results were the highest possible grade of A* (9 to 8).
48% of pupils secured A* to A (9 to 7) grades, while 97% of Rydal Penrhos entries achieved A* to C (9 to 4) grades.
