North Wales and the North West of England offer a host of cultural, social and sporting activities and our weekend programmes include visits to Liverpool and Manchester, the chance to explore local towns such as Conwy with its rich cultural history and time spent at the coast, on the lakes or discovering the mountain ranges of Snowdonia.
There will also be the opportunity to study in small groups or simply enjoy some down time in New House, relaxing with friends.
To help families plan with confidence, New House follows a clear half-term opening and closing timetable, with flexibility where international travel requires it.
New House will be closed from 16:30 on the last day of each half term. It will then re-open for boarders form 14:30 on the day before the start of term.
For a full list of our term dates, please click here.
In the case of international boarders, we will always do our best to accommodate flight times that are outside of the usual New House timetable.
The safety and wellbeing of our pupils is paramount.
Our Head of Boarding will work closely with our pastoral team including our Mental Health First Aiders and ELSA team to ensure that our boarders are happy, safe and thriving during their time with us.
Should our families need to appoint a UK based guardian, our admissions team work closely with our nominated Guardianship company and will be happy to discuss individual family requirements.
Our Guardians will organise travel to and from school, holiday home stays and ensure that our pupils are safe and happy.
