An aspiring Preparatory School performing artist gained valuable stage experience at one of the most prominent venues in the region.
Cameron Pye, a Year 6 pupil at Rydal Penrhos, was part of the cast that performed Another Brick in the Wall on stage at Rhyl Pavilion Theatre on Saturday, November 2.
This was part of the Ultimate Classic Rock Show and was arranged by Stagecoach Denbigh, which Cameron attends on a weekly basis.
It proved to be a memorable occasion for those in attendance, which was the latest in a series of notable milestones for the hard-working pupil, who is also a national U12 skiing champion after securing gold at the Welsh Open Championships earlier this year.
Cameron will continue to work alongside coaches at the facility in the coming months, and he is also set to play a huge part in the annual Year production at the end of the academic year.
Prep School Head Lucy Davies, said: “This was another fantastic experience for Cameron and one that I know he got a tremendous amount of.
“He has two real passions in performing and skiing, and it is really heart-warming to see his enthusiasm towards both coming to the fore and further assisting his overall development outside of a classroom environment here at Rydal Penrhos.”
