A former Rydal Penrhos pupil is celebrating after securing an outstanding final outcome from her degree course.
Lily Walsh, who attended Rydal Penrhos from 2009-17, is now the proud owner of a first-class honours’ degree in Photography.
The daughter of Suzy Morris, and art teacher at the school’s prep and senior sites, starting her journey as a Reception class child, spending the entirety of her education at Rydal Penrhos.
She then moved on to the University of Manchester, where she has now achieved an exceptional result for her degree efforts.
This represents a significant achievement from Lily, who has worked incredibly hard throughout her time in higher education and has been rewarded accordingly.
Sally-Ann Harding, senior school head, said: “This is a great success story for the school, where Lily first became inspired in art and photography.
“It helps to have such an incredibly passionate mother and teacher in Suzy guiding her along the way, and everyone at the school is absolutely thrilled for her.
“We wish Lily the very best of luck during the next step of her journey, and we are confident she is going to a huge success.”
