Two Preparatory School departments have benefitted from investment in new equipment during the last week.
The Pre-School and Pre-Prep areas at Rydal Penrhos received some new playground tools as part of ongoing improvements across the site, and each pupil has been making the very most of their availability.
A series of activities both during lessons and play saw them constructing and working together, which proved to be great fun in the process.
The new equipment is designed to stimulate imaginative and cooperative play and will be hugely beneficial for the Pre-School and Pre-Prep children in terms of boosting their cognitive skills and overall development.
This is the latest in a series of improvements across the Prep School site since the start of the academic year under newly appointed Head Lucy Davies, who has already made a significant impression during her first few weeks in the role.
She said: “The development of each child is something that is of paramount importance to us here at Rydal Penrhos Prep School, and the tools we give them play a huge part of their early development.
“This new investment of playground equipment has already proven to be a very wise one and something that has captured the imagination of our young pupils.
“To see them working so well together has been exceptionally pleasing and long may this continue.”
