Join Us! We are delighted to announce that Rydal Penrhos School’s next Assessment Day will take place on Saturday 24 January 2026.

Assessment Day provides an opportunity for your child to be considered for a 100% Fully Funded Place or Means-Tested Bursary for entry into Years 7, 10 or 12.

100% Fully Funded Places are available to all pupils who would like to apply for a place in Years 7, 10 or 12 and where either the household income (i.e. the combined income of those with parental responsibility) is £40,000 or less.

Alternatively, Means-Tested Bursaries are available where either the household income is £60,000 or less.

Fully Funded Place and Bursary awards will be decided based on the results of a CAT (Cognitive Ability Test), past school reports, and an interview with our Principal.

Any Fully Funded Place or Bursary award will be conditional on the results of an independent financial assessment, which considers household assets and savings.
