Please be advised that today (Thursday) our Education Minister Kirsty Williams has announced schools will not reopen on June 1.

Ms Williams said there is “a lot of speculation” about what Mr Johnson may say about schools reopening in England, but said schools in Wales would not reopen on June 1.

As you are aware Education is a devolved area of governance in Wales, and any decision about opening schools in Wales will come from her.
