A host of talented musicians and vocalists at Rydal Penrhos will be taking the stage for the first concert of the academic year next week.
The selected pupils are going to be showcasing their immensely impressive talents at the Young Performers’ Concert on Wednesday, October 9, which will take place in the Memorial Hall from 6.30pm.
Each pupil is working closely under the guidance and support of Director of Music Pete Williams and teacher Alan McGuinness in the lead-up to the event, which is one of many concerts put on by Rydal Penrhos throughout the year with a view to improving confidence and ability of performing in front of a live crowd on a consistent basis.
A wide range of age groups are set to perform at the event both vocally and on a variety of different instruments that each pupil specialises in.
Mr Williams, said: “Our Young Performers’ Concerts are always very well received and it is going to another wonderful demonstration of the musical abilities of our fantastic pupils here at Rydal Penrhos.
“I consider myself extremely fortunate to get the chance to work with such incredible pupils that not only possess an enormous amount of ability, but also listen, learn and get better on a daily basis.”
