Two Preparatory School pupils achieved notable success from a regional art competition.
A large number of Rydal Penrhos pupils took part in a Colwyn in Bloom competition, which is run to promote the town’s phenomenal success in the national competition and was open to all Prep and Primary schools in the area.
They were tasked with painting a floral design, and Alexandra Lopez Moreno’s superb entry was awarded second place in the Year 2 category.
There was further success from a Prep School perspective in the form of Dean Mills, who also secured second place for his entry into the Year 1 category.
Both pupils attended a special presentation at Colwyn Bay Town Hall, where they received their certificates from the Mayor and Chair of the Colwyn in Bloom Committee Ingrid Lewis.
All winning entries will be displayed in the main room at the town hall throughout the summer.
