At the end of this term, Mr Mark Sherrington will retire from his role as Teacher of Art following 14 years of dedicated and indefatigable service to Rydal Penrhos School.

Mark has made an outstanding contribution to our school community. As an Old Rydalian and as a key member of both the school first eleven cricket and the first fifteen rugby teams while at school it has been particularly fitting that he returned to serve the school that helped shape him. Throughout his career, he has inspired generations of pupils with a love of art, creativity and culture, enriching not only those he has taught but our entire community. A passionate champion for the arts, Mark has ensured that creativity has remained a valued and celebrated part of school life. His legacy will continue to inspire pupils for many years to come.

We wish Mark a long and happy retirement.
