Another busy week in the Prep School with trips out with Pre-School and Reception, netball victories and two inter-house competitions in chess and gymnastics.
We saw out the half term on a fun and positive note with our Valentine’s Discos for all of our pupils in aid of Ski Disability Wales; thank you to all of the parents on FORPS who have helped to organise this event
We have a number of exciting events coming up following the half term break and here is some more information:
Sport Relief:
Our prefects explained about an exciting new charity initiative in assembly last week.
All of our pupils (including Pre-School) have been asked to pick a sportsperson from the past or present whom they really admire and do a project about them to bring to school on Friday, March 13.
They will be allowed to wear the sports kit of the sport pertaining to their chosen sportsperson and bring £2 towards Sport Relief.
The projects will form an exhibition in the library. Family help is encouraged and the project can take any form, electronic, poster, model, book, painting, mobile or lego.
Estyn Inspection:
Hopefully, our parents have been able to complete the questionnaire relating to our upcoming school inspection, the link was emailed at the end of last week.
If you would like to come and support the school at the parents’ forum it will be held in the memorial hall on Monday, March 1 at 4pm.
