Well done our young rugby and netball players for their outstanding commitment during fixtures against Moreton Hall, Mr McLeod and Mrs Pyves were incredibly impressed with the work ethic and teamwork on show from all involved.
Monday saw each year group participate in a sponsored Kangaroo Jump to raise funds for the World Wildlife Fund’s appeal for the devastating Australian Bushfires.

It was great to see everyone getting into the spirit and a special mention goes to head girl Fleur, who managed to do her portion in a Kangaroo outfit to get an extra £50 off her father!
Year 6 supported the RSPB’s annual Big Schools Birdwatch during their Forest School session with Mrs Pyves, documenting the birds around the area in order to produce findings.
Our Y6 group spent their latest #ForestSchool session lending their support to the @Natures_Voice Big Schools’ #Birdwatch, identifying the different birds around the outdoor #learning area and taking part in other activities. #RPInspires 🐦🦜

These will be sent to the organisation and added to their important conservation research, and they also got the chance to make some toast on the fire as a rewards for their efforts.
Our Prefect team led a special assembly on Wednesday to launch the ‘Sporting Hero/Heroine’ Project in aid of Sports Relief on March 13.
Each prefect had prepared a short slide show about their sporting hero to give some helpful hints to other pupils that will be producing similar work in the coming weeks.
A big thank you to everyone that came along to our Parents’ Dinner for Year 1-3 on Thursday, it was another brilliant evening and very useful in relation to our ongoing efforts to improve the school.
We were delighted to welcome Abbey Gate College and The Firs on Friday for some rugby and netball fixtures, which were action packed and a great way to round off the week.
