Cassie Parry (Year 13)

A talented performer who on stage who has excelled within Sixth Form life, Cassie has achieved a tremendous amount in a relatively short space of time at Rydal Penrhos.

The Upper Sixth Form pupil arrived at the school in September 2019 and integrated superbly, in addition to making a lasting impression at a series of different events throughout the academic year.

Cassie is no stranger to the stage and flourishes when performing in front of a live audience, something that was highlighted during Rydal Penrhos’ annual 2019 Christmas Concert courtesy of a superb duet alongside Nishita Koushik, which drew widespread plaudits and was one of the standout performances on the evening.

She has also formed an exciting band named New Moon alongside sister Adele, who is a former pupil that left the school in 2017.

They recently released a single entitled ‘Fire’ on the streaming platform Spotify, which has been extremely well received from music-lovers across the region.

Cassie’s exceptional academic progress saw the pupil earn a conditional place to read English at Homerton College Cambridge pending the necessary A Level results this summer.

The pupil is currently studying English, Drama and Psychology at A-Level and is working hard under the superb guidance and support of teaching staff to ensure she reaches her goals.
