Pre-School children at Rydal Penrhos took a trip to one of the region’s most picturesque tourist attractions as part of a special event.
The youngest members of the Prep School community visited Bodnant Gardens for an Outdoor Learning Day, which saw them take part in a series of activities during their stay at the site.
This included examining the different types of trees within the gardens during their initial walk, with the group asking a series of investigative questions on topics such as height and texture of the trees.
They followed this by taking in the stunning flowers and identifying each different type they came across that are flourishing at Bodnant, with their keen “desire to explore” praised by staff member Nikki Taylor.
Early Years children benefit enormously from Rydal Penrhos’ location on the beautiful North Wales coast, the staff coming up with a series of exciting learning tools surrounding the immediate environment that aid their overall development considerably.
This includes the hugely popular Coastal School, which has thrived since its inception.
