Rugby Sevens will take centre stage at a special competition at Rydal Penrhos next month.
The school will be hosting their annual U16 RPS 7s tournament on Saturday, March 14, which will feature a wealth of club and school sides from North Wales and North West who are going to compete for a variety of different trophies.
This is something that the school has hosted in recent years with great success, although the 2019 competition fell victim to the weather leading to its cancellation.
Teams will be put into groups and following the opening games, each team will be divided into Cup, Plate, Bowl, Trophy and Shield depending on their placings in each pool.
An exciting knockout stage will decide the overall winners in each category.
Senior School head Sally Ann Harding, said: “Our U16 Rugby 7s competition is always something that offers up plenty of excitement for those taking part, and this year’s entries are sure to provide some high-quality throughout.
“It is always a great experience for our U16 squad, who continue to benefit from the expert coaching they receive here at Rydal Penrhos, in addition improving their physical attributes as part of our specialist strength and conditioning programme.
“Hopefully this will bring with it some impressive results and we look forward to welcoming everyone to New Field.”
