After a period of heavy rainstorms and severe weather warnings has forced the postponement of Sports Day, Rydal Penrhos is happy to announce a new date.

Due to recent heavy rainstorms and severe weather warnings, we have taken the decision to postpone Sports Day. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this change. The new date for Sports Day is now set for Friday 7 June 2024.

While we understand that this alteration may disrupt plans, the safety and well-being of our pupils, staff, and community are always our top priority. Unfortunately, the forecast indicates that the inclement weather will persist into Friday morning, leaving us with no choice but to reschedule.

Despite this unfortunate delay, we look forward to a fantastic day of sporting competition and house spirit on the new date. All arrangements and schedules for Sports Day will remain the same for the new date, so please hold onto any relevant information you have received.

If you have ordered a Rydal Penrhos Sports Day Hamper, please be advised that your order will automatically carry over to the new date. Should you prefer to cancel your order, please contact our Events Team at events@rydalpenrhos.com.

Tomorrow, Friday 24 May, pupils will follow their regular timetable for a full day of lessons before the half-term break begins. This decision aims to maintain a sense of normalcy and ensure that our pupils maximise their final day of school before half-term.
