A thrilling day of competition at Llandudno Snowsport Centre brought home another set of outstanding results for Rydal Penrhos.

Our strong tradition of winter sports is emblematic of this philosophy, offering young athletes the opportunity to thrive in dynamic, challenging environments.
This spirit was on full display on Friday 28 March 2025, as Rydal Penrhos skiers produced an exceptional performance at the inter-school ski competition held at Llandudno Snowsport Centre. Across both Prep and Senior School categories, pupils demonstrated technique, courage, and competitive edge – bringing home a remarkable array of podium finishes.
Among the standout performances were first-place finishes in the U8 Girls, U8 Boys, U10 Girls, U12 Boys, and U14 categories. Multiple pupils secured double podiums, showcasing both depth and consistency across the team. Notably, the U14 Boys achieved a superb 1st and 2nd place finish, while the U12 cohort impressed with commanding wins in both the standard and regional races. The Prep School results alone accounted for over a dozen top-three placements, with strong showings in every age group.
