Rounding off the success from a Rydal Penrhos perspective is Wales U18 international Reuben, who is tied 24th on the ISGA list to further enhance his reputation as one of the brightest young prospects anywhere in the country.

All three pupils have played a leading role in the outstanding recent achievements from the school’s Golf Academy since its inception, with Rydal Penrhos forming close links with North Wales Golf Club in Llandudno.

It also boasts its own short game area to further aid with player development.

Head of Physical Education Nicky Head, said: “This fantastic news for Adrian, Charley and Reuben, who have all performed incredibly well at various high-profile competitions throughout the academic year with plenty of success along the way.

“Our Golf Academy has been a significant addition to our sporting provision under Ian Richardson, and hopefully this is a trend that can continue long into the future.”
