February 7, 2020

A group of talented young netballers continued their excellent recent form with an impressive result.

The school’s U13A side welcomed Moreton Hall for a competitive fixture on Saturday, February 1, which saw the squad demonstrate a high level of teamwork and communication to secure a notable triumph.

It proved to be another very productive outing for the ever-improving squad, who were marshalled superbly by Isabella Peevor in her role as captain.

Year 8 sports scholar Jasmin Beckett-Donald also contributed significantly throughout on her way to a Player of the Match performance, enabling Rydal Penrhos to emerge victorious by a 17-8 score.

Ella Northcott, Sophie Hall and India Livingstone brought plenty of energy to the contest to play a leading role, with the Year 7 duo of Keira Luke and Fflur Pierce adding plenty of quality despite playing a year up from the required bracket.

Head of Physical Education Nicky Head, said: “This was a fantastic performance and result from our U13A squad and one they worked very hard to achieve.

“Their commitment, enthusiasm and dedication is something that really comes across during training sessions and competitive matches, so hopefully they can continue this trend as the season progresses.”
