A talented young rugby player at Rydal Penrhos has earned another regional squad selection for a high-profile upcoming fixture.
Osca Clark, a Year 10 pupil at the school, has been named in the RGC East squad for their upcoming encounter against Ysgolion MMAD, which will take place this Friday.
The young Gogs’ will look to continue their impressive list of performances over the season to date, which has seen each member of the squad gain valuable experience as they look to progress their respective skills within the sport.
Osca earned his place within the set-up following a successful trial period over the summer, and he has developed his skills considerable both with the school’s rugby programme and his involvement with the Rhyl and District youth system.
Head of Physical Education Nicky Head, said: “We are thrilled that Osca continues to be involved with the RGC east squad, and this is a testament to his ongoing commitment to improving during each training session and competitive fixture.
“He is learning all the time and his involvement with RGC East has been a great experience for him and done a tremendous amount for his overall development, and we wish Osca and the Gogs’ the very best of luck this Friday.”
