A Preparatory School netball side continued their exceptional campaign with another outstanding win.
The U11 and U9 squads from Rydal Penrhos travelled to Alderley Edge School for Girls on Saturday, February 29 for two competitive fixtures that featured plenty of high-quality play throughout.
Another standout display from the U11 squad saw them emerge victorious by a 21-11 score-line, thanks in no small part to some sharp shooting from skipper Charlotte Payne and vice-captain Ellie Knight.
The energetic duo of Lily Copeland and head girl Fleur Roberts also played a leading role in their success, with Lucy Ranales-Griffiths and Tilly Trueman displaying some impressive passing throughout.
Year 5 pupil Sophie Morris’ performance above her required age bracket was another notable highlight to continue her excellent recent development.
The U11 squad have been in tremendous for this season as they gear up for the Urdd National Finals later this year after a memorable triumph in the Conwy Championships.
Rydal Penrhos’ U9 team also produced an encouraging display despite falling to defeat, with the contingent getting some more experience in a competitive setting and working well as a unit.
